Since the first “Kuan Du Arts Festival” established in 1993, TUNA has organized the festival every October for over 23 years. The month-long arts festival extents from focusing on performing arts to various types, including animators, movies, exhibitions, lectures, workshops, arts markets, art parades. Celebrating fantastic arts and creativity, we are delight to gather these various activities in the Festival. The campus is full of art energy, including a contemporary art exhibition held by Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts, “Kuan-Du Film Festival” and “Kuandu International Animation Festival” organized by School of Film and New Media. This year they are thrilled to represent the first Kuandu Light Art Festival. Besides activities in the campus, we have extended our boundary to Kuan Du and neighboring area since last year. Collaborating and partnering with local societies and people, we hold the first “Fun Guandu Festival”. The Festival this year will become much larger showing the solidarity of the Kuan Du neighborhood.
The purpose of Kuan Du Arts Festival is not only making more people join the performances coming from over the world, but also shortening the distance between audience and arts. The local schools, residents, corporations, nature landscapes and religion culture are all part of the festival, we hope all our audience could enjoy, play even interact with various arts types.
The moto “Voyage” indicates that art is just like a journey full of surprises and boundless creativity. There is no need to take lots of effort to appreciate arts. On behalf of the principle of TNUA, I would like to invite all friends to join us exploring infinite creativity and imaginations. Please enjoy and have fun with us in the series of festivals!
