《土地計劃-首部曲》核心概念是要「從台灣地方人物的故事出發」,透過不同類型的美學形式進行結合,輔以資料閱讀與田野調查之後,形成具有臺灣獨特地方議題同時深具當代美學價值的創作。
在反應社會現實的出發點下,結合物件跟偶戲劇場和光影的元素,將《蚵仔夜行軍》的魔幻輕盈的質地烘托出來,希望能在沉重的社會議題底下透過偶戲的魔幻質地讓觀眾能進入一趟充滿辯證跟人性的戲劇旅程,而《還魂記》則是使用希臘歌隊結合物件表演的形式,透過吟唱以及現代舞的舞蹈元素去表現出對土地的孕育。
跟其他劇團不同,三缺一製作排練期動輒超過一年,不斷建立又打破,團員必須花大量時間訓練,彼此溝通協調。為了探討國光石化議題,整團人馬來到雲林的養蚵場田野調查,回來還得在讀書會上分享心得。而這些,不過是三缺一明年「土地計劃」的第一步而已。

The core concept of Earth Project ep.1 is to “start with the stories of the local people.” Through combining different arts and aesthetics, readings, field investigations, we expect to form an artistic work of local issues.
Short One Player combined the puppet theater and shadows to present the magical texture of “The Anger Oyster” in hopes of bringing the audiences into a journey full of dialects between humanity and debate. “Come back from the River” used the form of Greek chorus to present the nurture of lands through singing and dancing.

Different from other groups, Short One Player production rehearsals is often conducted for more than a year. They continue to build and break, members must spend a large amount of time to train and communicate with each other. In order to explore the issues of Guoguang Petrochemical, the whole team went to the oyster farm in YunLin, and share their experiences in reading groups. All this, is just the first step of Earth Project of next year.”
