Cie zeitSprung was founded in 2013 by Meret SCHLEGEL and Kilian HASELBECK after successfully touring their works To Be or Orthopadie and the subsequent full length work Orthopadie or To Be, both of which were met with critical acclaims. Meret has had a long and distinguished career in dance both on stage and off, performing across Europe and the U.S. Kilian started dancing with Hip Hop and was subsequently trained in ballet and contemporary dance. Meret and Kilian together respectively received the Swiss Dance Award in 2015.

This piece reflects the behavior patterns of people in any group. The dynamics are constantly shifting, new challenges appear which can change and shift the whole situation, everybody is challenged and forced to react and respond instantly. It’s a permanent and agile dance about adjusting, including, being supported or getting overrun and excluded. The company members come from all corners of the world, our complicity is bonding dancers and a musician form Africa, Asia and Europe. This mixture reflects also present times and some of the current upheavals all over the world.
